Peptamen® AF is a 1.5 kcal/ml enteral tube feed formulated with 100% whey protein, omega-3 fatty acids and 50% of fats as medium-chain triglycerides. It is a nutritionally complete Food for Special Medical Purposes for use under medical supervision.
Peptamen® and Peptamen® Vanilla and Peptamen® HN are suitable for patients as a sole or supplemental source of nutrition on medical grounds for short bowel syndrome, intractable malabsorption, proven inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) and bowel fistulae.
Peptamen® AF is suitable for patients as the sole or supplemented source of nutrition on medical grounds for short bowel syndrome, intractable malabsorption, pre-operative preparation of patients who are undernourished, patients with proven IBD, following total gastrectomy, bowel fistulae and disease related malnutrition.
